Re-invitation for Consultancy Service
The Ministry of
Labour and Social Affairs (MOLSA) plans to undertake an in-depth
analysis of Child Labour Survey conducted in 2001 and thereby move
to concrete action programs to address the problems that have been
identified in the survey and hence looking for a national
consultancy firm capable of carrying out the duty.
Scope of In-depth Analysis
objective of the in-depth analysis is to enhance the knowledge and
understanding of the child labour situation in Ethiopia "its nature,
extent, causes and effects".
The analysis will
focus on the progressive elimination of child labour, especially its
worst and hazardous forms, by helping to highlight child labour
concerns in national strategies for development and poverty
framework of the objectives outline above, the specific terms of
reference of the in-depth analysis will be to produce a working
document in the area of child labour covering the core issues
outlined in the term of reference in detail
Qualification and Experience
* The study requires the services of an experienced researcher/analyst
with a minimum of Master's degree in economics
with strong background in econometric, and/or

of the child labour survey result from the General Service of the
Ministry Room No. 038 upon payment of Birr 50 (Fifty Birr) which is
consulting firms with relevant qualification and experience and
having renewed their licenses for 1997 E.C., and registered by the
Ministry of Finance and Economic Development are invited to submit
their technical and financial proposals in two separate wax-sealed
envelopes within 25 days of the announcement to General service of
the Ministry Room No. 038.
The bid will be
closed within 25 days of the announcement and will be opened on the
next day in the presence of bidders and/or their legal
reserves the right to accepts or reject any part or all bids.
