1.
National Bank of Ethiopia now invites eligible bidders who
will be financially and technically capable to undertake the supply
installation and commissioning of lots listed under Item No. 3 for
the Ethiopian Institute of Banking & Insurance Project, Akaki.
2.
All manufacturers and/or suppliers with license valid for the
year 1997 E.C. and VAT registered are eligible for bid.
3. Interested
eligible bidder may participate in any or all lots. Each lot shall
be treated separately. Bidders are therefore required to clearly
state in which lot or lots they plan to participate.
Lot No. 7-05:
Household Supplies
The supply
of blankets, bed sheets, bed spread etc for accommodation blocks of
the Institute.
Lot No. 8-05:
Window Curtains and Vertical Blinds
The supply
and installation of window curtains for accommodation blocks of
the Institute.
The
supply and installation of vertical blinds in different blocks.
Lot No. 9-05:
Household Electrical Appliances
The
supply of reading lamps, bed side lamps, ironing machine etc for
accommodation blocks.
Lot No. 10-05:
Laundry Equipment
The
supply and installation of washing machines dryers and ironers and
related accessories for the laundry block
of the Institute.
4. Bidders

5. Eligible
bidder may purchase a complete set of bidding documents upon payment
of Birr 100. Additional set of documents may be purchased each at
the same price form Universal Consultants.
6. All
bids must be accompanied by a CPO of 2% of the total bid amount. Bid
validity required is ninety days. Bids must be delivered to the
office of:

a)
On or before August 23, 2005 at 12 hours, participating for
lots 7-05, 8-05, and 9-05.
b)
On or before September 15, 2005 at 12 hours, participating
for lot 10-05.
Delivered
documents shall be opened on their representative delivery dates at
14:00 hours in the presence of those bidders or representatives who
choose to attend in the office of the National Bank of Ethiopia (New
Building) 6th Floor.
7.
The National Bank of Ethiopia reserves the right to accept or
reject any or all bids.
