1. GOAL
Ethiopia, an International Humanitarian Organization, invites sealed
bids, from eligible bidders of all transport companies to bid for
the contract to serve the organization's bulk transport needs.
2. The
successful bidders will be expected to carry a range of commodities
(mainly food items) in support of GOAL's emergency programs.
3. All
interested parties, who can provide legal and currency registration
license from the ministry of Trade and Industry and three reference
from nationally recognized organizations, may obtain the bidding
documents during office hours from August 22, 2005 to August 26,
2005 against payment of non-refundable administrative charge of Birr
50 (Fifty Birr) from the following address:

4. All
bids should be submitted in a wax-sealed and stamped envelope and
should be accompanied by copies of all appropriate
documents/licenses to the above address into the box ready for bid
document. The document should be covered by a headed letter of
introduction. The invitation will be closed in September 1, 2005 at
9:30 A.M.
5. The
bid will be opened in the presence of bidder/their legal
representatives who choose to attend in September 2, 2005 at 9:30
A.M. at GOAL Ethiopia's Meeting Room, Head Office, Addis Ababa.
6. GOAL
Ethiopia reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
