1. The
Education Material Production & Distribution Enterprise (EMPDE)
intends to procure Printing Paper for its Printing and publishing
House.
2. Bids
are invited form eligible bidders for the supply of Printing Paper.
3.
Detail information will be found in he bidding document,
which is obtained during working hours form the commercial
Department of EMPDE, Room No. 35 upon payment of non-refundable
amount of Birr 230 (Tow Hundred Thirty Only) December 5, 2005.
4. Bidders
required bidding document by first class Air Mail should send
crossed Bank draft of Birr 200 (Two Hundred Birr Only) or an
equivalent amount in foreign currency drawn in favour of EMPDE in
addition to the price of documents indicated in paragraph 3 above.
5. Sealed
bid must be submitted with the working Tender No. EMPDE
2-1998/ICB/2005 Procurement of Printing Paper at the address stated
in paragraph 6 below.
6. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid bond of 2% of the bid price in the
currency of the bid or in the form of Bank Guarantee or C.P.O.
cheque established through any Commercial Bank in Ethiopia &
addressed to EMPDE, P.O. Box 5549, Tel. 463481/463555 Extension 230
& 232 Addis Ababa so as to reach it on or before at 9:30 A.M.
January 24, 2006.
7. The
Education Material Production and Distribution enterprise (EMPDE)
reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
