1.
SNNPRS Capacity Building Bureau (CBB) has received a loan
form the International Development Association (IDA) toward the cost
of the Public Sector Capacity Building Program (PSCAP), District
Level Decentralization Program (DLDP), Information Communication
Technology capacity building program (ICT), Tax System Reform
Program (TSRP) and Urban Municipality Capacity Building Program
(UMCP) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to
payment under the agreement (s) resulting form this IFB.
2. SNNPRS
CBB reserves as the implementing agency for the project and now
invites eligible bidders to carry out the following training
activities.
Training 400 woreda civil servants
for diploma and 235 for degree through distance in marketing,
management, accounting, economic and law. And 120 civil servants
form different sectors of the region on basic computer application
and networking to be conducted in Awassa.
3. Interested
bidders can apply for all or part of the categories listed above.
4. Bidding
will be conducted using National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure
specified in the World Bank’s guidelines: Procurement under IBRD
Loans and IDA Credits.
5. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information form SNNPRS CBB and
inspect the bidding documents at the address given below form 2:30
to 6:30 and 7:30 to 11:30 office hours.
6. A
complete set of biding documents prepared in English may be
purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written
application to the addressed bidders below and upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of 150 Birr in Cash form the pool Center of
SNNPRS CBB.
7. Bids
must be delivered to the address: CBB, P.O. Box 1157, Tel. 046
220 65 72/046 220 61 43, Awassa, on or before 30th
day of bid announcement and must be interested in the locked and
sealed box of the bidding. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be
opened in the presence of bidders/bidders’ representatives who
choose to attend in person at 9:00 A.M. after 30 days of bid
announcement on the Ethiopian Herald.
8. The
CBB reserves the right to reject part or all the bids. |
