Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCo) hereby invites all
competitive Bidders to conduct & submit a sealed bid for the supply
of Excitation, digital Governor and associated equipment as the
tender requirements for Awash II & III and Koka Hydro
Electronic Power plants, Tender RHPP3-98.
bidders are invited to submit tender entirely responsible for the
combination/package of contract components. Regarding Supply of
goods and/or equipment, shipment shall be delivered to the point of
final destinations as instructed in the schedule of prices. (If a
bidder requires the whole tender documents in floppy, disk, Flash
disk or DC it is allowed to collect form Power Plants Rehabilitation
qualify for the Tender bidders should have sufficient experience in
Supplying and commissioning and said equipment and to have with
satisfactory performance in the last five (5) years, alone or as
leading partner (sponsor), on the supply of Excitation, digital
Governor and associated equipment at least for three (3) power
utilities and shall have minimum five (5) years successful
are allowed to bid and submit for a complete set of Bidding
documents for all Contract Components may be purchased by any
interested eligible Bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of

bids must be delivered to the office given in No. 3 above on or
before January 30, 2006, 16:00 Hrs. local time.
bidders may visit the sites if they wish, covering the required
bids should be accompanied with bid security of USD 20,000 as
requested by the Tender Documents.
bids will be opened on January 31, 2006, at 10:00 Hrs local time at
EEPCo. Club, Mexico Square in the presence of bidders or their
representatives who choose to attend the opening session.
Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCo) reserves the right to
reject any or all bids.
