Ethiopian Radio
& ETV Agency, Ethiopian Radio invites interested and eligible
bidders to bid for the supply of Radio Transmitter &
Associated Equipment for Mekelle & Harar.
1. Local
bidders or agents must produce their evidence of currently renewed
license that they have paid up all government taxes, Certificate
from Ministry of Finance Specifying that they have registered in
suppliers list, VAT registration certificate from Inland Revenue
Authority & performance certificate and experience in similar work.
2. Bids
should be submitted along with a bid bond amounting to Birr
70,000 (Seventy Thousand) issued in favor of Ethiopian Radio
by first class Bank in the form of certified Bank check or Bank
Guarantee.
3. Bidders
can obtain bid documents from Ethiopian Radio and Television Agency,
Ethiopian Radio, Building 12th Floor, Room No.
1214 during office hours against payment of non-refundable Birr 50
(Fifty Birr).
4. Bidders
should mail their Technical & Financial Proposal in two separated
wax-sealed envelopes to Ethiopian Radio and Television Agency,
Ethiopian Television, P.O. Box 5544, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia or placed
in the tender box reserved for this purpose on or before January 16,
2006 at 10:00 A.M. local time.
5. The
bidders shall submit their bid bond & the necessary documents that
are mentioned in item No. 1 together with the technical proposal.
6. Any
bidder that would not fulfill all the mentioned conditions shall be
rejected.
7. Bidders
should note that the financial proposal will not be opened on the
bid opening date.
8. Tender
envelopes should be marked “Bid for the supply of “Radio
Transmitter & Associated Equipment for Mekelle & Harar”. Bids
shall be opened on January 16, 2006 at 10:05 A.M.
local time in the presence of bidders or their legal
representatives at Ethiopian Radio & Television Building in studio B
Hall.
