CARE Ethiopia
is an international humanitarian organization operating in Ethiopia
since 1984. CARE has been implementing a number of relief and
integrated development projects in different parts of the country.
Modeling and Reinforcement to Combat HIV/ AIDS (MARCH) is one of the
CARE Ethiopia's projects designed to reduce the spread of HIV and
reduce the impact of AIDS.
CARE is
intending to consolidate and document the so much promising
strategies and activities and activities of this project for future
scale up and replication within and outside of CARE. This is
therefore a call for proficient and experienced individuals/ firms
who would like to compete for this consulting opportunity.
The prospective
individual /firm is expected to develop and submit detailed
technical and financial proposals with tangible methodological steps
and reasonable timetable for the accomplishment of the task.
Experience and
Minimum Requirement: Prospective applicant must have at least 5
years of experience in similar undertaking to which supportive
evidences are produced.
Accordingly,
the project tasks shall include:
1.1
Conducting a brief and
yet comprehensive background study;
1.2
Revising listening
and discussion guides;
1.3
Developing a graphic
training manual for peer leader trainers;
1.4
Producing
audio-visual teaching aids in Oromiffa and Amharic
1.5
Developing graphic
worksheets and teaching aids;
1.6
Packaging the role
model stories developed by the project; and
1.7
Producing a thirty
minutes documentary film on CARE/CDC MARCH Project.
Duration: the
duration of assignment will be 150 working days.
Closing date:
10 calendar days from the day of this announcement on newspaper.
Proposals/ quotations received after the due date will not be
considered.
Only
prospective individuals/firms who meet or exceed the stated
requirement will be considered. The Terms of Reference (TOR) can be
obtained upon paying Birr 30 from the Head Office of CARE Ethiopia,
located near Mexico Square, in front of St. George Beer Factory.
