contractors of category GC/BC class 4 and above with license valid
for the current year.
1.
The Agency for the
Administration of Rented Houses invites wax-sealed bids from
eligible bidders that would be financially and technically capable
to for furnishing the necessary materials, labor and equipment to
undertake construction and completion of Water proofing materials on
the roofs of eighteen different buildings in Addis Ababa.
2. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased as of Hamle 6,
1997 by any interested eligible bidders on the submission of a
written application to C.D.S.Co upon payment of 650 Birr each.
Additional sets of documents may be purchased each at the same
price.
3.
Bidders may obtain
further information from, and inspect the bidding documents at
Construction Design Share Company (CDSCo), Water Works Design
Studio, Block 8, and Addis Ababa Tel. 42 08 00 (Ext. 290)
4.
All bids must be
accompanied by a bid security, 1% of the bid amount, to maximum of
Birr 100,000 from recognized financial institutions payable on
first demand addressed to the employer and must be delivered to
Construction Design Share Company (CDSCo) Tender Hall
3rd floor on or before 12:00 hrs Nehase 6, 1997.
5. Bids
will be opened in the presence of those bidders or legal
representatives who choose to attend on 14:30 hrs (Nehase 6,
1997) at the office of CDSCo.
6.
The construction of
the work shall be completed within a maximum of 180
calendar days from the commencement of the work.
7. Bidders
are instructed to submit ONE ORIGINAL and TWO PHOTOCOPIES
of the ORIGINAL bid document with all entries and TO BE
SEALED UNDER SEPARATE ENVELOPES.
8. The
employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
Bidders are
instructed to fill, sign and seal all the forms of the bid
documents. Failure of this instruction is automatic rejection.
All bids must
include 15% VAT on the summery of price.
Bidders are
advised to visit the project site.
