RE-INVITATION FOR BID
1.
Addis Ababa City Roads Authority now invites sealed bids from
eligible bidders (Ethiopian or Foreigner) for the purchase of
Thermoplastic Road Paint.
2. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from:

3. A
complete set of the bidding document can be purchased by any
interested bidder from the date of first announcement upon payment
of a non-refundable fee of Birr 50.00 (Fifty Birr).
4. Bidders
should submit currently renewed license and registration certificate
from the Ministry of Finance.
5. All
bids must be accompanied by bid security not less than 1% of the
total bid amount. The Bid bond must be in one of the following
forms, Cash or Certified Cheque (CPO) issued by a
recognized domestic bank or Bond issued and/or confirmed
through a recognized domestic Bank.
6. The
Bank that issues the bond as per 5 here above shall
unequivocally guarantee to pay the purchaser immediately upon the
first written demand of payment. The purchaser's written demand of
payment shall not be subject to any condition whatsoever.
7. The
Bond-issuing bank shall clearly incorporate the content stated under
item 5 here in above on the issued bond.
8. The
bid bond shall be separately enclosed and submitted to our
Finance Division against receipt.
9. Bidders
should submit their offer in a wax-sealed envelope (i.e.
technical and financial proposal separately) to AACRA's Head
Office on August 15, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. bid will be opened in the
presence of interested bidders or their representatives on the same
date and time at AACRA's Head Office.
10. Addis
Ababa City Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
