The North Shoa Zone Education and Capacity Building Office is
implementing a project entitled Basic Education for Children in
North Shoa, Oromia Region in seven Woredas of the Zone. For this
purpose, the Zone Education and Capacity Building Office intends to
make eligible payment under contract for the supply of the following
furniture in different lots.
1.1.
2520 Combined desks, 168 Teacher's tables, 42 Teacher's
Chairs, 252 Chairs, 42 Office Tables, 42 Cupboards, 168
Chalk/Blackboards for 42 ABE centers in seven Woredas of the Zone.

2400 Combined desks and 96 Chalk/Blackboards for 24 primary
Schools in seven Woredas of the Zone. /Find details in the bidding

2. The
North Shoa Zone Education and Capacity Building Office now invites
sealed bids form eligible bidders with license valid for the year
2005 for all lots. Interested Bidders upon payment of non-refundable
amount of Birr 50/for each bidding/ can obtain complete sets of
bidding documents from July 28 to August 8, 2005 form Oromia Region
Education and Capacity Building Bureau, Addis Ababa/Room No. 29/, or
Save the Children Denmark Office, [near Bisrat Gebriel Church] Addis
Ababa,/ Floor No. 10/, or North Shoa Zone Education and Capacity
Building Office, Fitche/Room No. 11/.
3. Bidders
need to submit their wax-sealed bids and bid bonds of 2% cash or
C.P.O which confirmed by a responsible Bank on the 21st
Working day of the first date of this announcement at 2:00 P.M.
4. The
tender will be opened at Oromia Region Education and Capacity
Building Bureau on the 21st Working day of the first date
of this announcement at 2:30 P.M. in the presence of the bidders or
their legal representatives who whish to attend.
5. Bids
shall be valid for the period of 90 days after bid opening.
6. The
supply of furniture shall be delivered within maximum of 45 calendar
days starting from the signing of contract.
