1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia The Ministry of Health
intends to purchase Office Equipment and Office Furniture by the
fund received from the President Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief
(PEPFAR).
2. The
Ministry of Health now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for
the supply and delivery of Office Equipment and Office Furniture per
the following summary.

3. Bidders
have option to bid for any one or more lots and are required to
quote at least 80 % of technical responsive items in a lot and 100 %
of the quantities of each item.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information form the office of
secretary of the Tender Committee, Ministry of Health,
Pharmaceuticals Administration and Supply Service (PASS), Room No.
1.3
5. A
complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by
interested bidders on submission of a written application to the
address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr
50(Fifty Birr).
6. Bidders
are required to submit with their bid copy of renewed license,
clearance from Inland Revenue Administration and a copy of
registration certificate from Ministry of Finance and Economic
Development.
7. Bids
must be delivered to the office of secretary of the Tender Committee
on or before 2:00 P.M. August 4, 2005 and must be accompanied by a
bid security of Birr 3,000 (Birr Three Thousand) for Lot I and Birr
3,000 for Lot II in the form of C.P.O. or Bank Guarantee, Insurance
Bond is not acceptable. Late bids will be rejected.
8.
Bids will be opened in the presence of
bidders/representatives who choose to attend at 2:30 P.M. on August
4, 2005 at Conference Hall, Ministry of Health Head Office, Woreda
3, Kebele 53, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
9. The
Ministry reserves the right to reject the bid fully or partially.
