1.
The Harari People
National Regional State, Municipality of Harar invites eligible
bidders who would be financially or technically capable to furnish
the necessary labor, material and equipment of the consideration and
completion of Harar Town Internal Roads Asphalt Maintenance Work
(Triple Surface Treatment).
2. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased as of Megabit 5,
1997 by any interested bidder on a submission of a written
application to Consideration Design Share Company, Addis Ababa upon
payment of Birr 155 (One Hundred Fifty Five only). Additional sets
of documents may be purchased each at the same price.
3. Bidders
may obtain further information from and inspect and acquire the
bidding document at Construction Design Share Company, Road Design
Studio (Block No. 3).
4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security, 1% of the bid amount to
a maximum of Birr 100,000 from recognized financial institutions
payable on first demand, addressed to Municipality of Harar.
5. Bids
should be submitted in wax-sealed envelope on or before Megabit 26,
1997, 12:00 A.M. local time at the following address. Construction
Design Share Company, Administration Block 3 rd floor, Room No. 128,
Addis Ababa.
6. Bids
will be opened in the presence of those bidders or legal
representatives who choose to attend on the same date and place at
2:30 P.M. local time at the office of Construction Design Share
Company.
7. The
Construction of the works shall be completed within a maximum of 60
calendar days from the commencement of the work.
8. The
employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
® All
bids must be include 15% Value Added Tax on the summary of price.
® Bidders
are interested to fill, sign and seal at each and all the forms and
pages of the bid documents. Failures of this instruction are
automatic rejection.
®
Bidders are instructed
to submit one "Original" and two "photocopies" of the Original
Instruction to bidders, bid bond & Tender separate envelopes.
® The
bidder is strongly advised to visit and examine the site at his own
expense.
