The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) invites all interested
and eligible bidders to bid for the supply of vehicles on rental
basis based on the following specifications.
1.
Vehicles will be
rented for 90 days and should be available
the earliest on the 9th
of April
the latest on the 16th of
April
2.
The vehicles need to
be:
®
4 wheel-drive with a
capacity of least 9 persons.
®
The conditions of the
vehicles will be determing factor.
®
With roof rack, diesel
engine, and should be able to operate in all selected rural areas of
the survey.
®
The fuel consumption
of the car should not be included in the quotation.
®
Must have a
comprehensive motor insurance policy.
3.
The driver should be
well oriented, and willing to travel deep into the rural parts of
the country and willing to live a camp life for continuous three
months in team.
4. Based
on the capacity of each bidder, bids may be for the supply of 14
vehicles.
Bidders must supply their bids
at a unit price per day and per vehicle.
5. Bids
must be sealed and labeled "SEALED BID"
6. Bidders
should submit their offer in a sealed envelope On or before Monday
28th March 2005 at 17:00.
7. Bids
will be opened on Tuesday 29th March 2005 at 9:30 A.M. at
UNFPA Country Office Addis Ababa (full address indicated below) in
the presence of bidders or their official representatives.
8. Bidders
must submit their company profile and copy of renewed license along
with their bids.
9. UNFPA
reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
