Cheshire Services Ethiopia (CSE) is a disability focused local NGO
operating in Ethiopia since 1962. CSE plants to undertake a five
years strategic plan in order to determine its future organizational
direction.
The organization wishes to commission freelance consultant to
undertake the strategic plan.
Objective and scope of the strategic
plan development
The overall objective of the exercise is to contribute towards
building the capacity of Cheshire Services Ethiopia to effectively
and efficiently implement programs and projects aimed at achieving
its set objectives and redefine it future directions as polio is
being eradicated.
Specific objectives
® To
prepare a comprehensive five year Strategic Plan document that would
serve CSE as a guiding tool for it s programs and projects; and show
its resource implication and implementation.
®
To build the capacity
of the planning team of Cheshire Services Ethiopia in the
preparation and implementation of a strategic plan by involving them
in the process.
® To
enable CSE to develop/redefine its vision, Mission and Strategic
objectives and make CSE more effective and efficient.
Main Tasks
Within the frame work of the objectives outlined above, the specific
terms of reference of the strategic plan development will be to
produce a working document that directs the organization for the
coming five years and addressing the issues outlined in the TOR.
Desired Qualification and Experience
®
The study requires a
consultant that has wide experience in developing strategic plan for
social development sector with relevant experience in the area of
rehabilitation and integration of children and youth with disability
in the society.
® Knowledge
of Developmental Social Welfare policy of Ethiopia and UN Standard
Rules on Equalization of Opportunities for persons with
disabilities, (PWDs), Current issues of PWDs.
® Demonstrate
ability to complete the task as scheduled.
® Has
good track record of executing its assignments as planned
Duration: Three months
Interested consultants can collect complete terms of reference (TOR)
from CSE head office located at Kebena around Kidane Miheret
Catholic Church during office hours 8-12 A.M. and 1-5 P.M. Local
hours during working days. Expression of interest must be delivered
