Wonji/Shoa Sugar Factory is conducting two main projects, 

      Rehabilitate and optimize the present cane growing area to produce more sugar cane.

      Expand the cane growing  area to Dodota North, Wake tio and further  to Welenchity and Tibla with  the objective of maximizing (increasing ) the annual sugar production to about 300,000 tons of sugar and hence invites all interested eligible  bidders to supply different

      Tender documents can be obtained from our Liaison Office, Addis Ababa, Philips Building Room 406, during working hours against a non-refundable payment of Birr 100 (One Hundred) from the date of issuance of this bid on The Ethiopian Herald.

      All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the bid amount. The bid security shall be in the form of   Bank guarantee counter guaranteed by Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, strictly or CPO and certified cheque in the name of Wonji/Shoa Sugar Factory. Bid bond in any other form shall not be accepted.

      Bidders should submit their offers in wax-sealed envelope to our Liaison Office mentioned above before or on April 15, 2005, 10:00 A.M. local time.

      Bids shall be in two envelopes systems (Technical & Financial) independently each having one original and four copies.

      The bid will be opened at the Liaison Office Addis Ababa, Philips Building, Room No. 412 in the presence of bidders or their representatives on April 15, 2005, 10:30 A.M. local time.

      The Factory reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
