RE-TENDER
The Upper Awash Agro Industry Enterprise (UAAIE) invites interested
and eligible parties to bid for the supply of Spare parts and
related consumable materials for Merti Fruit & Vegetable processing
plant.
Interested eligible bidders who have registered for Value Added Tax
(VAT) and renewed their license for the year 1997 E.C. may obtain
the bidding documents from UAAIE's co-coordination office, Kirkos
Kifle Ketema, Kebele 03, House No. 0031 (behind Global Hotel) during
office hours upon payment of non-refundable Birr 100 (Birr
Hundred).
Bidders shall furnish as part of their bid, bid security in an
amount equivalent to 2% of the aggregate price. The bid bond must be
payable to UPPER Awash Agro Industry Enterprise in either of the
following forms:
a)
Cash
b)
Certified Check (CPO)
issued by recognized Bank.
c)
Foreign Bank Counter
Guarantee from the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia.
The tender remains floating upto 21st May 2005.
Bidders should submit their offers in a wax-sealed envelope to UAAIE
co-ordination office, Kirkos Kifle Ketema, Kebele 03, House No. 0031
before or on 21ST May , 2005 upto 9:30 A.M. local time.
Bids received in time and fulfilling the required formalities will
be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their
representatives at 10:00 A.M. local time on 21st May 2005
at UAAIE's co-ordination office in Addis Ababa.
UAAIE reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
