Re-Tender
The Addis Ababa
University invites eligible bidders to participate in the tender for
the supply of Barcode Scanners, Barcode Printers and Personal
Computers and Barcode Labels.
Interested
bidders may obtain bid documents with full specifications during
office hours beginning from the announcement of the tender against
payment of Birr 50.00 for documents from main campus, Purchasing
Division. Local Bidders should attach the VAT Certificate evidencing
their registration for VAT Payment, Registration Certificate from
Ministry of Finance and Economic Development and Clearance from
Inland Revenue Authority and renewed trade license.
A bid bond
amounting to Eth. Birr 10,000 or equivalent in readily convertible
Foreign Currency should be submitted in CPO, Cheque or Bank
guarantee compatible with their respective bidding currencies along
with the offer in a wax-sealed envelope marked, ‘Bid reference no.
014/98-05’. Bids should be put into the tender box prepared for
this purpose or it can be mailed to Addis Ababa University,
Purchasing Division, P.O. Box 1176, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on or
before December 13, 2005 at 2:30 pm (8:30local time). Bids
will be opened in public at Purchasing Division, Room No. 200 on
December 13, 2005 at 3:00 P.M. (9:00 local time).
The University
reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
