The Ethiopian
Customs Authority (ECU) invites all interested and eligible bidders
by the International Competitive bid for the supply of Customs
Security Seals.
1. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested
eligible bidder at the Ethiopian Customs Authority, Room No. 603
during office hours upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 200
(Two Hundred Eth. Birr) commencing from the first notice floating
date.
2. Local
bidders should submit a related and renewed license for the current
year, a credential from Ministry of Finance and Economic Development
(MOFED), Tax clearance certificates or supporting Letters from
appropriate Tax collecting Authorities suppliers certificate
registration and VAT registration certificate.
3. A
bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of Birr
40,000 (Birr Forty Thousand only) in the form of cash, certified
cheque/CPO issued by a recognized domestic bank or Bond issued by
and/or confirmed through a recognized domestic bank.
4. Sealed
bid marked as: “Tender for the Supply of Customs Security Seals” and
addressed to:

Room N. 603
P.O. Box 3248
Addis Ababa
Ethiopia
Will be
received at the Head Office, Room No.603 in Addis Ababa before or on
December 29, 2005 until 12:30 A.M. local time. Bid received after
the closing time will be automatically rejected.
5. Bids
will be opened on December 29, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. local time in the
presence of bidders/their authorized representatives.
6.
The Authority reserves the right to accept or rejects any or
all bids.
