1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a loan form
IFAD in various currencies to the cost of the cost of regional
support. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will
be applied to eligible payment for procurement of various office
equipment.
2. The
Ministry of Water Resources (MOWR) invites sealed bids form eligible
bidders for the supply of the following Items:

Local bidder or local Agents of Foreign Suppliers are
required to present:
Currently renewed Trade License
Tax clearance Certificate or
supporting letter form appropriate Tax collecting Authorities.
Supplier's registration certificate
of MOFED.
VAT Registration certificate, if
their total bidding price exceeds Birr 100,000
4. Bidders
have the option to bid for one or more lots.

A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased form the
office and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 50 (Birr
Fifty).
7. Bids
must be delivered to the above office on or before 2:00 P.M. on
5/4/98 and must be accompanied by a bid security, Birr 3000 (Birr
Three Thousand).
8. Bids
will be opened at 2:30 P.M. on the above mentioned date & address in
the presence of bidders/representatives who choose to attend.
9. The
Ministry of Water Resources reserves the right to accept or reject
any bid, and annual the bidding process.
