contractors of category GC/BC class 7 & above with valid license for
this year.
1. The
Addis Ababa Foam & Plastic Factory invites wax-sealed bids
form eligible bidders for furnishing the necessary labor, materials,
and equipment for the construction. Reparation and completion of
Fence work at Addis Ababa.
2. A
complete set of bidding documents can be purchased as of Hidar 1,
1998 by any interested eligible bidder on the submission of a
written application to The Construction Design Share Company (CDSCo)
and upon, payment of Birr 415. Additional sets of documents can be
purchased each at the time price.
3. Bidders
may obtain further information form, and inspect the bidding
documents at the Construction Design Share Company (CDSCo) Studio
1, Block 5, Addis Ababa, Tel. 40 33 62 Or 42 08 00 (Ext, 286, 287).
4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security, 1% of the bid amount, to
a maximum of Birr 100,000 or Birr 3,000 to 5,000 for bid amounts,
40,001 up to 500,000 form recognized financial institutions
payable on first demand addressed to the employer and must be
delivered to Construction Design Share Company (CDSCo) on or
before 12:00 hrs. Tahsas, 12, 1998.
5. Bids
will be opened in the presence of those bidders or their legal
representatives on 14:13 hours Tahsas 12, 1998 at the office
of CDSCo. 3rd Floor Tender Hall Room No. 128.
6. Bidders
are instructed to submit one “Original” and One
“Photocopy” of the Original bid document with all entries and
to be sealed under separate envelope.
7. The
employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
Bidders are
instructed to fill, sign and seal all the forms of the bid
documents. Failure of this instruction is automatic rejection.
All bids must
include Value Added Tax (VAT) on the summary of price.
Bidders are
strongly advised to visit the site at their own expense.
