1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) has allocated Foreign
Currency for the importation of mineral fertilizers.
2. Accordingly,
the National Bank of Ethiopia in its Tender No. NBE/FEFF/ICB/59/2005
has invited all interested eligible importers to submit their offers
for the importation of 75,000 MT ± 15% fertilizer DAP (18-46-0) in
three lots.
3. BECHO
WOLISO FARMERS COOPERATIVE UNION now in its own invites sealed bids
from eligible bidders for the supply of 25, 000 MT 15% ± DAP
(18-46-0) fertilizers in one lot.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the
bidding documents at the office of:

5. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested
eligible bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 300 or
equivalent in any freely convertible currency.
6. Bids
shall also be accompanied by overseas supplier’s bid security
equivalent of USD 1 per MT in the form of Bank Guarantee and must be
delivered to the above office on or before 11:00 A.M. on December 1,
2005.
7. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose
to attend at 2:00 P.M. on December 1, 2005 at the office of NBE,
located at new building first floor.
8. Becho
Woliso Farmers Cooperative Union reserves the right to reject or
accept any or all of the bids.
