1. The
Ethiopia Roads Authority invites sealed bids form registered
suppliers under International Competitive Bidding (ICB) for the
supply of:
a)
6 each Pick-up Double Cabin
b)
1 each Station
Wagon to be delivered at Ethiopian Radio Authority, Central
Warehouse in Addis Ababa
2. Suppliers
that wishes to participate in this biding but not yet registered in
the Approved supplier’s list may apply to the relevant authority for
registration and also are required to submit VAT registration
certificate.
3.
Interested registered bidders may purchased a complete set
of bidding documents form the office of Procurement Service Room No.
106 during official working hours against payment of non-refundable
fee of Birr 100 or in another freely convertible currency of
equivalent amount and upon presentation of Trade License renewed for
1997 E.C. and tax clearance certificate.
4. This
invitation for bid is open to all interested bidders regardless of
their nationality and the bid evaluation and award shall be
determined in accordance with the provisions indicated in the
bidding document is prepared in English Language.
5.
Bids must be deposited in the Tender Box situated 1st
floor Room No. 106 before the closing date and time on January 05,
2006 at 10:00 A.M.
6. Bids
must be accompanied with a Bid Security of not less than Birr 30,000
or in another freely convertible currency of equivalent amount. The
bid security should be eight in a form of Cashier’s cheque or
Certified cheque of Letter of Credit or Bank Guarantee or chase
deposited against receipt. Bid securities in the form of Insurance
bond or any form other than these shall not be acceptable.
7. Bids
will be opened at 10:00 A.M. on December 27, 2006 in the Ethiopian
Road Authority Conference Room located at the 4th floor,
in the presence of bidders and/or their representatives who choose
to attend.
