1. Oromia
Health Bureau obtained a budget form the Regional Government of
Oromia and would like to procure furniture and office equipment for
Health institutions towards the cost of Health Sector Development
Program (HSDP). It is intended that part of the Proceeds of this
budget will be applied to eligible payment under the contract for
the procurement of furniture under Local Competitive Bid.
2. The
Oromia Health Bureau now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders
for the supply of:
Lot
1: Furniture for 26 Health Posts
Lot
2: Furniture for 15 Health centers
Lot 3: Furniture for One Hospital
Lot 4: Furniture for One Nursing
School
Lot
5: Office Equipment for Two health Institutions
3. Bidders
have the Option to bid for any one or more types Items. Bids will be
evaluated and contract(s) will be awarded for each item taking into
account discount offered, if any, for each items taking into account
discounts offered, if any, for combined items in determining the
least evaluated bid for all items which will be the bases for ward
of the contract(s).
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information form and inspect the
bidding documents at the office of Procurement Service, Oromia
Health Bureau Room No. 40, P.O. Box 24341, Woreda 15, Kebele 34,
around Ureal Church, Tel, 011-551 08 08 Ext. 228, 553 01 71, Fax
011-553 36 29, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
5. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested
bidder on submission of a written application to the above
mentioned office and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr
300 (Three Hundred only).
6. Bids
must be delivered to the office of Administration & Finance
Department on or before 3:00 P.M. in the afternoon on
14/3/98 E.C. and must be accompanied by a security of not less
than 2% of the bid amount in the form of CPO or bank guarantee form
a reputable bank.
7. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives
who choose to attend at 3:30 P.M. in the afternoon on 21/3/1998 E.C.
at the office of Administration and Finance Department, Oromia
Health Bureau, Room No. 13 Woreda 15, Kebele 34, around Urael
Church, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
8. The
Bureau reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
