1. Oromia
Health Bureau obtained a budget form the Regional Government of
Oromia and would like to procure Laundry and Ironing Machines for
Health institutions towards the cost of Health Sector Development
Program (HSDP). It is intended that part of the Proceeds of this
budget will be applied to eligible payment under the contract for
the procurement Laundry and Ironing Machines under Local Competitive
Bid.
2. The
Oromia Health Bureau now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders
for the supply of:
Lot
1: Laundry Machines for Seventeen Health Centers
Lot 2: Laundry Machines for One
Hospital
Lot 3: Laundry Machines for One
Nursing School
Lot 4: Ironing Machines for One
Hospital
Lot 5: Ironing Machines for one
Nursing School

Bidders have the Option to bid for any one or more type(s) of
Item(s). Bids will be evaluated and contract(s) will be awarded for
each item taking into account discount offered, if any, for each
items taking into account discounts offered, if any, for combined
items in determining the least evaluated bid for all items which
will be the bases for ward of the contract(s).

form and inspect the bidding documents at the office of Procurement

5.
A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by
interested bidder on submission of a written application to
the above mentioned office and upon payment of a non-refundable fee
of Birr 300 (Three Hundred only).
6. Bids
must be delivered to the office of Administration & Finance
Department on or before 3:00 P.M. in the afternoon on 16/3/98
E.C. and must be accompanied by a security of not less than 2% of
the bid amount in the form of CPO or bank guarantee form a reputable
bank.
7.
Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their
representatives who choose to attend at 3:30 P.M. in the
afternoon on 16/3/1998 E.C. at the office of Administration and
Finance Department, Oromia Health Bureau, Room No. 13 Woreda 15,
Kebele 34, around Urael Church, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
8.
The Bureau reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
