The Health
Education Center (HEC) invites bidders to develop an Implementation
Guideline for National Health Communication Strategy.
1. The
competing Institution is required to have qualified staff practical
experience in health education/promotion programs planning,
implementing, monitoring and evaluation.
2. Bidders
who are interested to participate in the bid should submit with
their bids copies of registration certificate from Ministry of
Finance and Economic Development, renewed trade license for the
year, VAT registration certificate and certificates for good
performances.
3. Bidders
who are interested to participate in the bid shall collect the
bidding document upon payment of non-refundable Birr 50 from Health
Education Center Property and General Services Unit, Room Number 72.
4. Bids
must be accompanied by security of Birr 3000 (Three Thousand Birr)
in the form of certified CPO issued by a recognized domestic bank or
bond issued by and/or confirmed through a recognized domestic bank.
Insurance bond is not acceptable.
5. Bids
should be submitted in two separate sealed envelopes, (1) technical
document including the CPO envelope and (2) financial document
envelope each having one original copy. Both the technical and
financial documents should be signed by authorized official and
stamped by the institution’s seal.
6. Bid
reply should be put into a tender box prepared for this purpose at
the Health Education Center, Property and General Services Unit Room
Number 72 on December 21, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. local time from the 1st
issuance date of the bid on The Ethiopian Herald.
7. Bids
received by the said deadline will be publicly opened in the
presence of the Bidders or their legal representatives December 21,
2005, 2:30 P.M. local time at the HEC’s Hall.

9. Health
Education Center of the Ministry of Health, reserves the right to
reject or accept any of the entire bid.
