1. The
Federal Government of Ethiopia has allocated budget towards the cost
of the Universal Electricity Access Program for Construction of
Diesel Power Stations and distribution lines at two towns in
Gambella Region of the country. Bidding is open to all domestic
bidders who have attained a valid business license in
Electro-mechanical works and VAT registration certificate.
2. The
Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation, now invites sealed bids from
eligible bidders for the following Contracts for Construction of
Diesel Power Stations, Erection of Electro-mechanical works and
Construction of Distribution lines including material
transportations from EEPCo ware-house Addis Ababa to the sites:
Contract
UEAP 3/98 Lot 10-Dimma and Teylut (Jicawo) towns of Gambella Region.
3. Interested

4. The
bid document shall be made available from November 25, 2005 and can
collect from the above address for a non-refundable fee of Birr 300
(Birr Three Hundred) for each contract package.
5. Each
bid must be accompanied by bid security of Birr 10,000 (Birr Ten
Thousand) and shall be delivered to the address indicated in 3 above
on or before January 10, 2006 no later than 11:30 hours local time.
6. Bids
will be opened on January 10, 2006, 14:30 Hours local time in the
presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to
attend at EEPCo Club, Mexico Square, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
7. The
Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation reserves the right to reject
all or part of this bid.
