Description

1.      The Oromia Water Resource Bureau (OWRB) has secured a budget from Oromia National Regional State for the construction of rural water supply Schemes on Borehole Source located in different Zones of the Region.

2.      The Bureau now invites eligible bidders for furnishing the necessary labor, equipment and services for the construction and completion rural water supply projects that are indicated in the table below.

3.      Interested eligible bidders of Category GC 6 and above may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the Office, Bole Road, 6^th floor, Room No. 6-4, Procurement Administration Process Team, Tel. No. 011 5 50 96 22, Fax 011 5 51 77 56 Finfinnee.

4.      Complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders upon presentation of renewed relevant license for 1997/8, work permit from Ministry of Water Resources (MoWR), VAT Registration Certificate, Tax identification Number (VAT) together with Written Application to the above Office and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 300 (Three Hundred) only.

5.      Bids shall be valid for a period of One Hundred Twenty (120) days after bid opening and must be accompanied by security of not less than 1% of total quoted price and shall be delivered to Our Bureau, at the above specified place on or before 27^th December 2005 together with the offer.

6.      Bids shall be opened on 27^th December 2005 at 02:00 P.M. at the Office of the Bureau Head at the presence of bidders or their legal representatives who wish to attend.

7.      The Oromia Water Resource Bureau reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
