contractors of category GC/BC class 4 & above with valid
license for this year.
1. The
SNNPRS Education Bureau invites wax-sealed bids form eligible
bidders for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, and equipment
for the construction, reparation and completion of Library
Building at Arbaminch.
2. A
complete set of bidding documents can be purchased as of Hidar 19,
1998 by any interested eligible bidders on the submission of a
written application to the Construction Design Share Company (CDSCo)
and upon payment of Birr 1000. Additional sets of documents can be
purchased each at the same price.
3. Bidders
may obtain further information form, and inspect the bidding
documents at Construction Design Share Company (CDSCo) Studio 1,
Block 5, Addis Ababa, Tel. 011 440 33 62 or 011 442 08 00 (Ext. 251,
239).
4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security, 1% of the bid amount to
a maximum of Birr 100,000 form recognized financial institution
payable of first demand Addressed to the employer and must be
delivered to Construction Design Share Company (CDSCo) on or before
12:00 hrs. Tahsas 20, 1998 at the office of CDSCo. 3rd
Floor Tender Hall Room No. 128.
5. Bids
will be opened in the presence of those bidders or their legal
representatives on 14:30 hours Tahsas 20, 1998.
6. The
construction of the works shall be completed within a maximum of 370
calendar days form the commencement of the work.
7. Bidders
are instructed to submit one “Original” and Two “Photocopy” of the
Original bid document with all entries and to be sealed under
separate envelopes.
8. The
employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
Bidders are instructed to fill, sign
and sealed all the forms of the bid documents. Failure of this
insructi9ons is automatic rejection.
All bids must include Value Added
Tax (VAT) on the summary of price.
Bidders are strongly advised to
visit the site at their own expense.
