Description

1.       The International Rescue Committee, and international non-governmental organization now invites sealed bids form qualified contractors of GC-6 and above for the construction of water supply systems in two lots founds in Chiro Woredas, West Hararghe Zone of Oromiya Regional State.

Lot -I:   Homocho Eyba Keble and Gebiba Kebele Water supply system.

Lot -II:  Metadab Diresedeta Keble and Metadab Wachudima Kebele water supply system.

2.      The Tender Documents, including the Tender Guidelines, Bill of Quantities, Specification, Drawings and Contract Template, for the aforementioned activity can be purchased 100 (One Hundred) Birr, non-refundable form the International Rescue Committee office during working hours form Wednesday 9^th November 2005 to Friday 9^th December 2005 inclusive. The International Rescue Committee office is locate on he 4^th/5^th floor of the Ras Dashen building, near Bole Airport, Bole Road, Addis Ababa, Telephone (01) 63 67 35/6/7, Fax 61 36 50.

3.      Bidders can bid for one lot or both lots.

4.      Tow copies of each bid, in separate envelopes marked ‘Original’ and ‘Copy’, should be submitted in a sealed covered envelope at the office of the International Rescue Committee address specified above by not letter than 11:00 Monday 12^th December 2005. All bids should include the aforementioned Tender Documents and be accompanied by the firm profile, past performance record on similar works and other relevant credentials, as well as a bid security in the form of a Bank Guarantee for 1% (One percent) of the bid amount.

5.      Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders/representatives who choose to attend at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, 12^th December 2005 at the conference Hall of IRC-Ethiopia, Addis Ababa office (address as in clause 2 above)

6.      The International Rescue Committee reserves the right to reject the whole or part of any or all bids.
