1.
Oromia Health Bureau obtained a budget form the Regional
Government of Oromia and would like to procure X-ray Machine and
Medical Equipment for Health Intuitions towards the cost of Health
Sector Development Program (HSDP). It is intended that part of the
Proceeds of this budget will be applied to eligible payment under
the contract for the procurement of Medical Equipment under four
lots in Local Completive Bid.
2. The
Oromia Health Bureau now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders
for the supply of :
Lot 1: Medial Equipment for twenty
six (26) Health Posts
Lot 2: Medial Equipment for Twenty
four (24) Health Centers
Lot 3: Medial Equipment for one (1)
Hospital
Lot 4: Medial Equipment for one (1)
Nursing School
Lot 5: X-ray Machine for one (1)
Hospital
3. Bidders
have the Option to bid for any one or more types (s) of Item (s).
Bids will be evaluated and contract(s) will be awarded for each item
taking into account discount offered, if any, for combined items in
determining the least evaluated bid for all item(s) which will be
the bases for ward of the contract(s).
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information form and inspect the
bidding documents at the office of Procurement Service, Oromia
Health Bureau Room No. 40, P.O. Box 24341,Kirkos Kifle Ketema Around

011-553 36 29, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
5. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested
bidder on submission of a written application to the above
mentioned office and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr
600 (Six Hundred only).
6. Bids
must be delivered to the office of Administration & Finance
Department on or before 3:00 P.M. in the afternoon on
19/03/1998 E.C. and must be accompanied by a security of not less
than 2% of the bid amount in the form of CPO or bank guarantee form
a reputable bank.
7. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives
who choose to attend at 3:30 P.M. in the afternoon on
19/03/1998 E.C. at the office of Administration and Finance
Department, Oromia Health Bureau, Room No. 13 Woreda 15, Kebele 34,
around Urael Church, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
8. The
Bureau reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
