class GC/BC 4 and above with license valid for this year.
1. The
Jimma University invites wax-sealed bids from eligible bidders for
furnishing necessary labor, machinery and equipment for the
construction and completion of office building. (Construction
Materials shall be supplied by the client).
2. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested
eligible bidders on the submission of a written application to Jimma
University Procurement Main Division upon payment of Birr 500.
Additional sets of documents may be purchased each at the same
price.
3. All
bids must be accompanied by bid security, 1% of the bid amount, to a
maximum of Birr 100,000 or form recognized financial institutions
payable on first demand addressed to the employer and must be
delivered to Jimma University on or before December 29, 2005 at
10:00 A.M. local time.
4. Bids
will be opened in the presence of those bidders or legal
representatives on 10:00 A.M. December 29, 2005 at Jimma University
Senate Hall.
5. The
construction of the work shall be completed within a maximum of 500
calendar days form the commencement of the work.
6. Bidders
are instructed to submit one “Original” and one “photocopy” of the
original bid document with all entries and to be sealed under
separate envelopes.
7. The
employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
