1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) has allocated Foreign
Currency for the importation of mineral fertilizers.
2. Accordingly,
the National Bank of Ethiopia in its tender No. NBE/FEFF/ICB/59/2005
has invited all interested eligible importers to submit their offers
for the importation of 75,000 MT ± 15% DAP (Grade 18-46-0)
fertilizer in three lots.
3.
The Agricultural Inputs Supply Enterprise now in its own
invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of 50,000
MT 15% ± DAP (Grade 18-46-0) fertilizers in two lot.
4.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information
from and inspect the bidding documents at the office of:

5. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested
eligible bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 300 or
equivalent in any freely convertible currency.
6. Bids
shall also be accompanied by overseas supplier’s bid security
equivalent of USD 1 per MT in the form of Bank Guarantee and must be
delivered to the above office on or before 10:00 A.M. on December 1,
2005.
7. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose
to attend at 2:00 P.M. on December 1, 2005 located at the 2nd
floor of the new building of NBE.
8. AISCO
reserves the right to reject or accept any or all of the bids.
