Description

To all Consultants of Category III & above whose License is valid for the year 1997/1998 E.C.

1.      The ANRS Regional Council Office now invites sealed bids for provision of consultant services for design of Conference hall and Office Building at Bahir Dar. Interested eligible bidders nay obtain further information form ANRS Regional Council Office, P.O. Box 1324, Tel. 058-220 26 57, Fax 058-220 25 11 at Bahir Dar.

2.      Tender document may be obtained by an interested eligible bidders on the submission of written application to the ANRS Regional Council Office and upon non-refutable payment of Birr 100 (Hundred) during the official working hours upon presentation of certificate of registration on the service providers and currency renewed trade license.

3.      Wax-sealed bid documents (one original and one copy) shall be delivered for both prequalification (Technical) and priced (Financial) documents separately. Drawings and design report for completion entry and all necessary related documents shall be delivered separately.

4.      All bids must be delivered to the ANRS Regional Council Office, P.O. Box 1324, Tel. 058-220 26 57, Fax 058-220 25 11 at Bahir Dar before the 20^th working day beginning form the first date of advertisement at 12:00 A.M. If the 20^th working day is not a working day, the submission date will be the next working day at 12:00 A.M.

5.      All prequalification (Technical), priced (Financial) document and all necessary related documents for Drawings and design report for completion entry shall be in separately sealed envelopes and must be accompanied by a bid security in an acceptable form of 1% of the total bid amount in separate envelope.

6.      Pre-qualification (Technical) documents and all necessary related documents form Drawings and design report for completion entry will be opened in the presence of bidder/s representatives who choose to attend on the 20^th working day beginning form the first date of advertisement at 2:00 P.M. If the 20^th working day is not working day the opening date will be the next working day at 2:00 P.M. at the office of ANRS Regional Council Office at Bahir Dar.

7.      Bidders could request advance payment up to 30% of the total bid price by providing advance payment guarantee. Bur for those bidders who did not request advance payment 2% qualification criteria will be added.

8.      Rejection Criteria: The employer will reject the bidder whose bid does not fulfill the following conditions.

1. Bidders should attach/present currently renewed Trade License, & renewed registration certificate to the technical document.
2. Bidders should submit the original & one-copy for all Technical, financial documents and all necessary related documents for Drawings and design report for completion entry separately sealed envelope.

9.      Bidders must present certificate of VAT Registration.

10.   The Successful bidder shall furnish 10% performance bond for the total bid amount.

11.   Bidder can get he document at Office No. 9 of the ANRS Council Office.

12.   The Employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
