1. The
Government of Ethiopia has received a loan form the African
Development Fund towards the cost of National Livestock Development
Project and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible
payments under the Contract for AL-Sub centers.
Bidding is open to all bidders form
eligible source countries as defined in the SDB's Rules of Procedure
for Procurement of Goods and Works.

The Tigray Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Development, which
is one of the Bureaus of the Regional Government of Tigray & which
the regional government in turn is one of the state of the FDRE,
invites sealed bids form eligible bidders for the construction of
AI-sub center in Tigray Region
3. Bidding
documents (and additional copies) may be purchased at the Tigray
Bureau of Agriculture & Rural Development, Procurement & Supplies
Administration Main Division, P.O. Box 10, Tel. 251-034-4406703,
251-034-4406700 against payment of non-refundable fee of 1,332 Birr
(One Hundred Three thousand Thirty Two Birr) or its equivalent in a
freely convertible currency, for each set. Interested bidders may
obtain further information form Tigray Bureau of Agriculture & Rural
Development, Procurement & Supplies Administration Main Division,
P.O. Box 10, Tel. 251-034-4406703, 251-034-4406700.
4. The
bid shall be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and
must be accompanied by security of an amount of 19,00 Birr or its
equivalent in a convertible currency, and shall be delivered to
Tigray Bureau of Agriculture & Rural Development, Procurement &
Suppliers Administration Main Division no later than 45 calendar
days (form the first day of the Advertisement posted on The
Ethiopian Herald Newspaper up to November 25, 2005 at 5:00 P.M. The
bid will be closed on November 25, 2005 at 11:30 A.M. & will be
opened on November 25, 2005 at 3:00 P.M. at the above mentioned
office in the presence of the bidders/or their legal representatives
who whish to attend. The Bureau reserves the right to reject
partially or the entire bid. The bid has to prepared strictly
accordingly to instruction to bidders, section II of the bidding
document.
