1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) has allocated Foreign
Currency for the impartation of mineral fertilizers.
2.
Accordingly, the National Bank of Ethiopia in its tender No.
NBE/FEFF/ICB/57/2005 has invited all interested eligible importers
to submit their offers for the importation of 75,000 MT+ 15%
fertilizer DAP (18-46-0) in three lots.
3.
ENDERTA MULTI PURPOSE FARMERS COOPERATIVES UNION now in its
now invites sealed bids form eligible bidders for the supply of
25,000 MT + 15% DAP (18-46-0) fertilizers in one lot.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information form and inspect the
bidding documents at the office of:

A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by
interested eligible bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of
Birr 30 or equivalent in any freely convertible currency.
6. Bids
shall also be accompanied by overseas supplier's bid security
equivalent of USD 1 per MT in the form of Bank Guarantee and must be
delivered to the above office on or before 11:00 A.M. on October 28,
2005.
7. Bid
will be opened in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose
to attend at 2:00 P.M. on October 28, 2005 at the office of NBE,

ENDERTA MULTI PURPOSE FARMERS COOPERATIVES UNION reserves the
right to reject or accept any or all of the bids.
