The Science
Faculty of Addis Ababa University invites interested and eligible
bidders for the supply of laboratory equipment, laboratory
accessories, chemicals, reagents and alike in sealed bids.
1. A
complete set of bid document in English can be obtained form General
Service Office of the Science Faculty, AAU located at Arat Kilo by
paying non-refundable Birr 50 (Fifty) form October 17, 2005-Novemer
7, 2005.
2. Bidders
should submit their offers (financial proposal) in a wax-sealed
envelope to the above mentioned office during office hours (8:00
A.M. -5:00 P.M.) form October 24, 2005-November 7, 2005, 2:00 P.M.
The bid will be closed at 2:00 P.M. and opened on same date at 3:00
P.M. in the presence of bidders or their representatives for those
who choose to attend, at the Faculty General Service Office.
3.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security (Bid Bond) of
1% of the total bid in the form of CPO or bank guarantee.
4. Bidders
are required to present relevant/Valid/and renewed license for the
current year, registration certificate form Ministry of Finance and
Economic Development (MOFED) as well as VAT registration certificate
to supply the required item.
5. A
bid delivered after closing date & time is invalid.
6. The
Science Faculty of Addis Ababa University reserves the right to
reject the bid totally or partially.
7. Interested
bidders may obtain further information form the same office on the
following address.
8. Bidders
are required to delivered the items before or at the beginning of
December 5, 2005. Bidders are required to specify the date of
delivery of the items with their bid documents.
