Description

1.      The Oromia Rural Roads Authority (ORRA) now invites all eligible local Road Consultants to submit Proposals (Technical and Financial) to provide Consulting service for Feasibility Study, Engineering Design and Tender Document preparation of the following seven (7) rural roads.

1. Chira-Afro-Cheriko Road (Jimma Zone)
2. Kercha-Shakiso/Soda Road (Guji Zone)
3. Two Roads as a lot

3.1   Chewaka-Efrem/Arjo Gudetu Road (Ilu-Ababora & East Wellega)

3.2   Ayyana-Ejera Road (East Wellega Zone)

4. Meta Gefersa-Yabelo Road (Borena Zone)
5. Afarfa-Wabe-Chloe/Gobessa Road (Bale & Aris Zones)
6. Shenen-Silkamba-Darge Road (West Shewa Zone)

2.      Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information form ORRA Head Office address below.

3.      A complete set of bidding document/Request for Proposal (RFP) may be purchased by any interested bidder on the submission of a written application form ORRA Head Office addressed below upon payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 100 only.

4.      The Bidders can bid for One or for all projects.

5.      One Original and Three photocopies of Technical Proposal and financial proposal shall be produced in different wax-sealed envelopes labeled as "ORIGINAL" and " PHOTOCOPY" separately for both and must be placed in the bid box along with bid security in acceptable form Bank amounting 1% of bid offer on or before November 21, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at same address below.

6.      Bidders must meet the minimum qualification criteria for their Financial Proposal to be opened. Unqualified bidder's Financial Proposal will be returned unopened to the bidder.

7.      Technical Proposal will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives, who choose to attend, on November 21, 2005 at 10:30 A.M. at the same address. Financial proposal of qualified bidder will be opened in the same place after 21 days form the opening date of Technical Proposal, i.e. December 12, 2005, 10:00 A.M.

8.      The Employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
