1. The
Addis Ababa Water and Sewerage Authority invites interested bidders
for the supply of uPVC Sewer Pipes & Fittings.
2. The
bid documents shall be obtained from the same office against payment
of a non-refundable fee of Birr 100 during office hours upon
presentation of registration certificate form the Federal Ministry
of Finance, renewed Trade License for the year & VAT registration
certificate.
3.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information at
the office of A.A.W.S.A.'s Material Management Department, P.O. Box
1505, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Tel 011-662 18 02, 011-551-1-72 36, Fax
(251-011) 662 39 24.
4.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond of Birr 10,000
upto 50,000 for in the form of a Bank Guarantee or Cashier's Payment
Order (CPO) or Cash. Bid bond in any other form shall not be
acceptable.
5. Bids
shall be submitted in two separate envelopes: 1. Technical envelope
2. Financial envelope each having one original and two copies.
6. All
eligibility certificates (Registration certificate from the Federal
Ministry of Finance, Renewed Trade License for the year & VAT
registration certificate should be found in the originals technical
envelope, and be submitted in the tender box on the closing date.
7. Bid
bond should be in separate envelope and be submitted in the tender
box together with the originals technical envelope.
8. All
bids must be deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose
on or before 5:00 P.M. local time on December 21, 2005.
9. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders and/or their official
representatives who wish to attend, on December 22, 2005 at 10:00
A.M. local time.
10. The
authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids
Failure to
comply any of the conditions from (4) to (8) above will result in
automatic rejection.
