1. The
Federal Democratic Bank Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) has financed by
the fund received form IFAD towards the cost of the Ministry's
Library. The Ministry of Water Resources now invites sealed bids
form eligible and qualified bidders for the supply & delivery of
about 330 different books for GIS.
2. Bidding
will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB)
procedures. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be
purchased by interested eligible bidders upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Birr 50 (Fifty Birr only) form Ministry of
Water Resources, Procurement Office Room No. 202.
3. Bidders
are required to submit with their bid copy of renewed license,
letter form Inland Revenue Administration, certifying that confirm
for bid participation & registration form Ministry of Finance &
Economic Development.
4. Bids
must be delivered to the Procurement Office address below on or
before November 16, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. All bids must be accompanied
by a bid security of Birr 5,000 (Birr Five Thousand) in the form of
CPO or Bank Guarantee. Insurance Bond is not acceptable.
5. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose
to attend at the Ministry of November 16, 2005 at 2:30 P.M.
6. Late
bids will be rejected and the purchaser reserves reserve the right
to reject the bid in full or partially.
