1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) has deceived a credit
form the International Development Association towards the cost of
Agricultural research & Training project and intends to apply part
of the funds to cover eligible payment under the contract for the
maintenance of Laboratory at National Animal Health Research
Center-Sebeta:

Democratic Contractors are required to submit proof of their
up to date registration form Ministry of Infrastructure Development
& Trade Bureau at the place of registration is BG/GC 7 and above.
3.
The Construction work shall be completed within 75 calendar
days from the commencement of the works.
4. Bidders
have to registered to collect "VAT" and copy of VAT certificate has
to be submitted with the application during the purchase of the bid
document.

For a
non-refundable fee of 100 Birr.
6. Bids
shall be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be
accompanied by security of 1000 Birr and shall be delivered to
Ethiopian Agricultural Research Organization on the 30th
day before 12:00 A.M. form the 1st issuance date of the
bid on The Ethiopian Herald.
7. The
bid Security shall, at the bidder's option, be in the form of either
a certified check, letter of credit, bank guarantee form a banking
institution or a bond issued by an insurance or bonding institution
form a reputable institution selected by the bidder and located in
any eligible country.
8. Bids
will be opened on the same date at 2:00 P.M. in the Conference Hall
of the Ethiopian Agricultural Research Organization (EARO) in
presence of the bidders or their representatives.
9. The
Ethiopian Agricultural Research Organization (EARO) reserves the
right to accept or reject any or all bids.
