1. This
Invitation for bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this
Project that appeared in Development Business, issue No. 659 of 31
July 2005.
2. The
Ethiopian ICT Development Authority, Information and Communication
Technology Assisted Development Project has received a credit form
the International Development Association toward the cost of
Information and Communication Technology Assisted Development
(ICTAD) Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of
this credit to payment under the Contract for Procurement of
Spectrum Management Software, Specialized Frequency Monitoring
Equipment and Accessories and Specialized Frequency Monitoring
Equipment.
3. The
Ethiopian ICT Development Authority, Information and Communication
Technology Assisted Development Project now invites sealed bids form
eligible and qualified bidders for Procurement of Spectrum
Management Software, Specialized Frequency Monitoring Equipment and
Accessories and Specialized Field Measurement Equipment under the
following four Lots.
Lot 1- Spectrum
Management Software
Lot 2-
Specialized Frequency Monitoring Equipment and Accessories
Lot 3-
Laboratory and Specialized Field Measurement Equipment
Lot 4-
Specialized Field Measurement Equipment
4.
Bidding will be conducted through the International
Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank's
Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans IDA Credits, and is open to
all bidders form Eligible Sources Countries as defined in the
Guidelines.

given below form 8:30 A.M. -12:30 A.M. from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications requirement include:
Technical & Experience-At least two
contractors completed successfully of similar nature and size within
the past five years.
7. A
complete set of bidding documents in English Language may be
purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written
Application to the address below and upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 300 (Three Hundred Birr) or USD
35 or equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. The method
of payment will be cash or Casher's Check. The bidding document will
be sent by Courier service.
8. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at or before 2:00 P.M.
December 08, 2005. Electronic bidding will be not be permitted. Late
bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the
bidders/representatives who choose to attend in person at the
Conference Hall of Ethiopia ICT Development Authority ICTAD Project,
Dembel City Center Biding 11th floor, Addis Ababa,
Ethiopia at 2:00 P.M. December 08, 2005. All bids must be
accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the bid amount including all
incidental service or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible
currency.
