1. The
College of Telecommunications and Information Technology (CTIT) of
the Ethiopian Telecommunications Corporation (ETC) invites sealed
bids form eligible bidders for the supply of:
Lot- 1 (Office equipment)
Computers (Desk & Laptop), Printers,
Scanners, LCD Projectors and UPS
ID Making machine with standard
accessories
Router, Layer Switch, GPRS/3G
phones, DSP Card, OPNET, Vis Sim/Comm, Desktop copier and digital
camera.
Lot- 2: Printing and Stationery
Materials
2. Interested
bidders can compete for both of the above lots and for one or more
items form each lot.
3. A
complete set of bid documents can be obtained form the College of
Telecommunications and Information Technology (CTIT), Purchase &
Supply Office, Room No. 56 during office hours upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Birr 100 (One Hundred Birr only) for Lot -1
and Birr 30 (Thirty Birr only) for Lot-2.
4. All
interested bidders are required to present their Trade license
renewed for the first year, Certificate of Supplier Registration by
MoFED and VAT registration certificate when appropriate.
5. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security of:
For Lot-1 1% (One percent) of the
total bid amount
For Lot-2 2% (Two percent) of the
total bid amount in the form of Cash, CPO or Bank Guarantee
issued by a recognized bank. Bidders who wish to deposit cash as bid
security must deposit to the College's Finance Office before the bid
opening date and produce the receipt/deposit slip during the bid
opening. A bid received without bid Security will be rejected.

Shall be deposited in the box
prepared for this purpose at CTIT/GSTIT's building, Room No. 203 in
Addis Ababa on or before 28 October 2005, 2:00 P.M. Bids
received after the closing date and time will be rejected.
7. The
bids received shall be opened in the presence of interested bidders
or their authorized representatives on 28 October 2005 at 2:30
P.M. at CTIT/GSTIT building Video Conference Room.
8. The
CTIT reserves the right to rejected all or part of bids received.
Bids will be evaluated and contract
will be awarded on item by item basis.
