calendar year.

Registration to submit wax-sealed bids for providing the necessary
labor, materials equipment and any other necessary requirement for
the execution and completion of the Finchaa Amerti-Neshe Hydropower
Access Road Project.

2. Each
prospective bidder proposing to bid for this project must be
eligible fulfilling the requirements of the Particular Instruction
of the Project.
3.
A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any
interested eligible bidder on the submission of a written
application to the above address and payment of a non-refundable fee
of Birr 1000.
4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security not less than 1% of the
bid amount or a maximum of Birr 100,000. The bid security shall be
payable on demand
to the employer, and must be an irrevocable Letter of Credit, or
Bank Guarantee, or Insurance Guarantee, or Insurance Guarantee, or a
Certified Payment Order (CPO) at the bidders option.
5. The
bid along with the bid security must be delivered to the
Ethiopian Electric Power

6.
Bid will be opened in the presence of bidders or bidders
representatives who choose to attend at
EEPCo. Club, Mexico Square on
November 9, 2005 at 2:00 P.M.
7. The
construction of the work shall be completed within 115
calendar days
form commencement of works.
8. The
employer
servers the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities,
to advertise for new bids or to proceed and to the work otherwise as
may be for its best interest.
