Description

To all qualified consulting firms with pertinent license, relevant experience, qualification and that have settled their tax related obligation.

The ANRS Bureau of Works and Urban Development now invites sealed bid for provision of consultancy services for each Tender No. 1/1998 & Tender No. 2/1998 separately for different Consultants.

Tender No. 1/1998

Consultancy Service for the formulation of Cities & Municipalities revenue mobilization, Tariff Amendment, constitution, procedures and implementation systems of City Association.

Tender No. 2/1998

Consultancy Service for Urban planning and building regulations.

For the above each Tender No. 1/1998 & Tender No. 2/1998

1.       Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information form ANRS Bureau of Works & Urban Development, P.O. Box 725, Tel. 058-220 66 37 Or 058-220 11 44 Or 058-220 06 30, Fax 058 220 34 57 at Bahir Dar.

2.      Tender document can be obtained by an interested eligible bidders on the submission of written application to the ANRS Bureau of Works & Urban Development and upon non refundable payment of Birr 100 (Hundred), during the official working hours upon presentation of certificate of registration on the service providers and currently renewed trade license.

3.      Wax-sealed bid documents (One original and One copy) shall be delivered for both pre-qualification (Technical) and priced (Financial) document for each bid separately quoting tender number.

4.      All bids must be delivered to the ANRS Bureau of Works & Urban Development, P.O. Box 725, Tel. 058-220 66 37/ 058-220 11 44/058-220 06 30, Fax 058-220 34 57 at Bahir Dar before the 20^th working day beginning from the 1^st date of advertisement at 12:00 A.M., if the 20^th working day is not a working day, the submission date will be the next working day at 12:00 A.M.

5.      Pre-qualification (Technical) and price (Financial) documents shall be in separate sealed envelopes and must be accompanied by a bid security in an acceptable form of 1% of the total bid amount in separate envelope.

6.      Pre-qualification (Technical) documents will be opened in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose to attend on the 20^th working day beginning from the 1^st date of advertisement at 2:00 P.M., if the 20^th working day is not a working day, the opening date will be the next working day at 2:00 P.M. at the office of ANRS Bureau of Works & Urban Development at Bahir Dar.

7.      Bidders could request advance payment up to 30% of the total bid price by providing advance payment guarantee.

8.      Bidders must present certificate of VAT.

9.      Obligation of the bidders: The bidder must present the following documents with their technical proposal.

A.    Bidders should present currently renewed Trade License, renewed Registration Certificate, Tax clearance certificate.

B.    Bidders should submit one original & one-copy separately sealed technical and financial envelopes of the bid.

C.    Bidders should complete the bid Form

10.  The successful bidder shall furnish 10% performance bond from the total bid amount.

11.  The Employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
