1. The
Federal Government of Ethiopia has allocated budget to wards the
cost of University Electricity Access Program for in creasing
people's access to electricity in rural towns and villages.
2. The
Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCo) now invites all
interested and eligible bidders to provide the flowing consulting
services: Design, Procurement and Supervision for the construction
of high voltage (230, 132, and 66KV) transmission lines and
substations under Universal Electricity Access Program to electrify
rural towns and villages in 11 regions. The program also includes
construction of Single Wire Earth Return distribution network.
3. The
bid documents shall be available form September 15, 2005
onwards against payment of non-refundable fee of ETH Birr 500.

5. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the bid price,
and must be delivered to the address above at or before 11:30
hours local time on October 31, 2005.

Bids will be opened on October 31, 2005, 14:30 hours local
time in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who
choose to attend at EEPCo Club, Mexico Square, Addis Ababa,
Ethiopia.
7. The
Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation reserves the right to reject
all or part of this bid.
