The
Horticulture Development Enterprise (HDE), Upper Awash Agro-Industry
Enterprise (UAAIE), Tendaho Agriculture Development Enterprise
(MAADE), and North Omo Agriculture Development (NOADE) jointly
invites all interested and eligible parties to bid for the supply
for Pesticides, Sprayers and Protective devises.
Interested
eligible bidders who have registered for Value Added Tax (VAT) and
renewed their license for the year 1997 E.C. may obtain the bidding
documents form H.D.E. Head Office Arada Kifle Ketema Kebele 04,
House No. 1591, Abune Petros Square near Shell fuel station during
office hours upon payment of non-refundable Birr 100 (Birr One
Hundred)
Bidders shall
furnish as part of their bid, bid security in an amount Equivalent
to 2% of the aggregate price. The bid bond must be payable to
Horticulture Development Enterprise in either of the following
forms:
a)
Cash
b)
Certified Check (CPO) issued by recognized Bank
c)
Foreign Bank Counter Guarantee form the Commercial Bank of
Ethiopia.
The tender
remains floating up to 17th October 2005.
Bidders should
submit their offers in a wax-sealed envelope to H.D.E Head Office
Arada Kifle Ketema, Kebele 04, House No. 1591 before or on 17th
October 2005 up to 3:30 P.M. local time.
Bids received
in time and fulfilling the required formalities will be opened in
the presence of interested bidders or their representatives at 10:00
A.M. local time on 18th October 2005 at H.D.E. Head
Office in Addis Ababa.
H.D.E. reserves
the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
