Sealed quotations on the basis of a single system of tendering (Technical Bid and price Bid) is invited from firms or companies having requisite experience and financial capacity for the execution of the following supply:

6.     Notice to bidders:

Tender document will be available from the date this notice is announced in The Ethiopia Herald. Interested parties may purchase the tender documents form SUR Construction p.l.c. Gabon Street, Kirkos Kifle Ketema Kebele 03, House No. 492, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (Tel. 251-1-66 83 44) upon payment of Birr 100 (non-returnable) in favor of SUR Construction p.l.c. The tender document shall be sold only to the persons authorized in writing by the firm/company

Amount of bid security 2% of the bid value. The bid security/bond/should be in either of the following: a) cash, b) Certificated Cheque, c) Bank Guarantee. Offers received without bid security are liable to be rejected.

7.     The essential Qualifying Criteria for the bidders are as follows:

7.1   The bidder should be a manufacturer of Construction Equipment having authorized
after seals service facilities in Ethiopia.

OR

7.2   The bidder should be an authorized dealer/supplier of Construction Equipment having its service center in Ethiopia.

7.3   The bidders should have valid License and VAT registration. All other relevant information would be available in the tender documents.

8.     Submission and opening date and place:

Sealed bids should be submitted latest by 5:30 P.M. on September 27, 2005 at the Office of Logistics Manager, SUR Construction p.l.c., Gabon Street, Kirkos Kifle Ketema Keble 03, House No. 492, 2^nd Floor, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The bids shall be opened at 10:00 A.M. on September 28, 2005. The bidders are permitted to attend tender opening.
