1. The
Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) invites eligible bidders for the
supply of IT Equipment (Branch Rollout) such as: Serves,
Personal Computers, Passbook Printers, Line Printers, Scanners,
Smart UPS (2000VA UPS), Surge Arrest, Gigabit Switch, Rack Cabinet,
Operating System (25 CAL, 50 CAL), 20 KVA UPS (Bid No.
23/2005/06); Office Equipment under Lot 1: Bilingual
Electronic Typewriters, Manual English Typewriters (Long Carriage),
Manual English Typewriters (Medium Carriage), Petty Cash Safe,
Refrigerators, Cash Box, Metal detector and Maintenance Tools and
under Lot II: Generators (Bid No. 24/2005/06).
2. Bidders
who can produce (Original and Copy) of renewed trade license,
Registration certificate from Ministry of Finance and Economic
Development and VAT Registration Certificate from the Concerned
government organ may obtain the bid document from the CBE’s Supplies
Division office located at Gofa Sefer Brach Building (in front of
Addis Ababa Abattoirs Enterprise) 3rd floor Room No. 304
against non-refundable payment of Birr 100 (One Hundred Birr) for
each..

Bidders shall submit
and deposit their sealed bid proposals (Technical & Financial
separately) into the bid box places at the same office indicated
therein above before the closing time.
4. Bid
proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of Birr
50,000 (Fifty Thousand Birr) for IT Equipment (Brach Rollout
Project), Birr 15,000 (Fifteen Thousand Birr) for Office Equipment,
and Birr 5,000 (Five Thousand Birr) and Birr 5,000 (Five Thousand
Birr) for Generators, in the form of Bank guarantee or CPO or
certified cheques only.
5. Bid
closing date shall be on May 11, 2006 at 9:00 A.M. and
will be opened on the same date at 9:15 A.M. for both in the
presence of interested bidders or their represeatnvies at the Office
of the CBE’s Supplies Division indicated under item No. 2 herein
above.
6. No
bid shall be accepted after the deadline.
