1.
The Rental Housing
Agency invites wax-sealed bids from eligible bidders for
furnishing the necessary labor, materials, and equipments for the
construction, reparation, and completion of the Compound Asphalt
Maintenance Work of Eastern Residence (CMC) project at Addis Ababa
and to offer the Completion time of project.
2.
A complete set of
bidding documents may be purchased as Miazia 3, 1998 by any
interested eligible bidder on the submission of a written
application to the Construction Design Share Company (CDSCo)
and upon payment of Birr 410 for each set. Additional sets of
documents may be purchased each at the same price.
3.
Bidders may obtain
further information from, and inspect the bidding documents at
Construction Design Share Company (SDSCo), Road Design Studio Block
No. 3.
4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security, 1% of the bid amount to
a maximum of Birr 100, 000 or 3, 000 to 5, 000 for bid amount 40,
001 upto 500, 000 from recognized financial institutions payable on
first demand Addressed to the employer and must be delivered to
Construction Design Share Company (CDSCo) on or before 12:00 hrs.

5. Bids
will be opened in the presence of those bidders or their legal
representatives on Miazia 25, 1998 at 2:30 P.M. local hours at the
office of Construction Design Share Company Administration Block 3rd
Floor, Room No. 128, Addis Ababa.
6. Bidders
are instructed to submit on “ Original” and one “ Photocopy” of bid
document with all entries and to be sealed under separate envelopes.
7. The
employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
Bidders are instructed to fill, sign and seal all the forms of the
bid document. Failure of this instruction is automatic rejection.
All bids must include Value Added Tax (VAT) on the summary of the
bid price.
Bidders are strongly advised to visit the site at their own expense.
Partial rebate, like fixed sum and rebate on some items is not
acceptable.
